Sleepwalking to Success
If you can do it while asleep, you can do it awake.
Every morning I wake up around 4:48 AM. On the dot, without exception, it just seems to work out that way. My internal clock likes to wake me up a couple of minutes before my alarm rings at 4:50 AM. No, second thoughts about it, in fact before any thought can take place, my feet have hit the ground, and I make my way to the closet to throw on my workout clothes.
Never once have I woken up and gone straight to the shower, since I go to the gym, and shower there after my workout.
Yet, this morning I found myself in an interesting predicament. I had a dream that water was running down my face, and how smooth it felt. I distinctly remember the way the water felt running down my body. It was one of the most vivid dreams I’ve ever had.
Moments later, I’m woken up to a voice telling me to go to bed. Go to bed? Go to bed, Mark, I hear once again. Without any recollection to how my body went from laying on my pillow in a deep sleep to now standing in the closet with wet hair, getting dressed in sweats and a sweatshirt, I hear my wife, say, go to bed. It’s 2:30 AM.
Not realizing until this morning when I woke up that, I had been sleepwalking, I took an entire shower, dried off, hung my towel back up, and then got dressed.
