How I quit my vape after 5 years of smoking.

Nicotine, drugs, and addictions have been something to be a part of my life for the better part of the last 17 years. I still remember the first time I found a cigarette on the ground. I was walking down a back trail between my house and a busboy job I had working at Jonny Garlics, which at the time was owned and run by Guy Fieri(right before he became what he is today). I was 15 years old, it was sometime during summer break. On this dirt and rocky back trail that followed a seasonal dried-up creek, mostly inhabited by the local bums, goths, and punk rockers, I see this perfectly crisp white cigarette. So, I bend down, pick it up, and smell it. Oh, that sweet smell of unlit tobacco. Reminded me of my family. I loved the smell of unlit tobacco and the first light of a new cigarette. After that, just reminds me of a wet dog.

Though, I still savored what I would do later after getting off work that night. So I rolled it up in my busboy apron and headed into my shift. Another employee told me, he was throwing a party at his place because his parent was out of town, and I should go when I get off. My dad was a strict guy, and I had to head straight home after work.
